Spring-Summer 2010

2010 prevailing mood is one of ecologic materials. Linen and hemp offer a great range of sensations.

A cello tune mixed to women’s deep voice gave birth to the 2010 collection. Interpretation was done thanks to broken lines and tails falling like arrows, on a tunic / smock. Pleats of the pair of trousers assert themselves.

Firmness is to be found in the angular low cut of the crossover top, as well as in the rectitude of the dress, or in the bow, set as a seal.

At the same time, the rounded lines of the pair of trousers and the asymmetry of the tops soften the whole thing.

A lighter interpretation is given by the “bowl” smock with its flowing bonds. Colours are organic, primitive but refined on the one hand. On the other hand, the green colour of the hemp lightens the whole suit.

The sensation given by the linen’s muslin is as surprising as the incredible lightness of this cloth, though linen has a rough aspect, looking like bark.

Paradoxically hemp and linen with their rough appearance procure comfort and wellness. These different aspects are the strength of these materials and make them a blue-chip, even if it was a lot of work and efforts to “win” it before to work with them. These materials are to be stared at, felt and touched.

Finally, we find in this collection all Lunapoix‘s ingredients: simplicity and femininity.

Spring-Summer 2010 is a commitment for the future to make good resolutions in a sense of wellness and softness.
